NORTHBROOK, IL -- Shell Hospitality, Inc. has recently promoted Rita M. Brazda to the position of General Manager
of the two vacation ownership properties the company manages in Canada.
Brazda had served as Resort Manager of Carriage Hills Resort since June 2001. Her new position has been expanded
to include the management of both Carriage Hills and Carriage Ridge Resorts. Developed by Shell Vacations LLC,
the resorts are located in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. She was previously Owner Relations Manager at Carriage Hills
Resort.
Rita Brazda directs a staff of 102 hospitality professionals in reservations, housekeeping, maintenance, accounting
and ownership services administration at the two resorts. The resorts are surrounded by Ontario's scenic Horseshoe
Valley, an all-season recreation retreat, known for its golf and ski activities.
When Carriage Ridge Resort completes its final phase of construction in December 2004, the two Canadian properties
will feature 250 lock-off units totaling nearly 500 keys.
Shell Vacations is one of the nation's largest independent vacation ownership developers, currently operating 17
resorts in six states and Canada and various preview centers. The company's recent global refinancing has enabled
it to significantly expand its nationwide resort network with several major projects currently underway in key
vacation destination locations.
