Geoff Tucker Named General Manager of Divi Southwinds Beach Resort in Barbados

CHAPEL HILL, NC -- Mr. Ray Hobbs, President of Divi Resorts, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Geoff Tucker, a native of Barbados, as General Manager of the Divi Southwinds Beach Resort in Barbados. In his new capacity as General Manager Mr. Tucker work closely with his management team and resort staff to develop the resort’s food and beverage outlets, including the beachside Jocelyns Café and poolside Bajan Breeze Restaurant. Mr. Tucker will also focus on the resort’s distinctive amenities and activities in order to create an extraordinary vacation experience for all Divi Southwinds Beach Resort guests.

A 30-year veteran of the hospitality industry Mr. Tucker brings an extensive background in Caribbean, Canadian and United Kingdom hotel and restaurant operations to Divi Southwinds. In his past endeavors Mr. Tucker worked at both boutique and five-star hotels and also served as the President and Treasurer of Skal International-Barbados, the association of Barbados travel and tourism managers. Mr. Tucker attended Harrisons College in Barbados and Thames Valley University in London and most recently resided in Toronto.
