Press Release: ATLANTICA
December 15, 2004
PUERTO LUPERON, Dominican Republic -- Puerto Luperon Corp, a major international development company, Dec. 13 announced
the successful closing of ATLANTICA's Captain's Cove Founder's Program two months after its official launch on
October 5, 2004, with more than $50 million in sales contracts and over $45 million in signed upgrade options.
The Developer -- Mr. Pierre Schnebelen -- in his October 5 launch speech, committed to President Leonel Fernandez
of the Dominican Republic to put ATLANTICA on the world map as a major yachting community. In their address at
this weekend's Closing Event Farewell Dinner, Mrs. Elena Viyella -- ATLANTICA's Chairman of the Board -- and Mr.
Schebelen declared the October 5 commitment a "mission accomplished."
Through a partnership with Miami-based Resorts of the World, LLC -- the marketing and sales agent for ATLANTICA's
real estate -- this sales number was achieved in a record-breaking two months. Mr. Schnebelen challenged his team
to double the rate of sales during the next two months, in part by way of the announcement of the second phase
featuring Fishermen's Village, which will include an additional Beach Club and two hotels. The hotels will serve
stunning apartments and duplex condominiums, overlooking both the AtlanticA Marina, and the Atlantic Ocean. Also
included in this release is the spectacular AMBAR Hotel and further real estate opportunities.
"The success of this first closing is extremely gratifying," said Pierre Schnebelen, ATLANTICA developer
and visionary, and President of ATLANTICA. "With construction of the infrastructure already on the way, and
the ground breaking of the Captain's Cove Townhomes starting in January 2005, we look forward to welcoming the
first residents to their new homes in December of 2005."
ATLANTICA's closing event for the Captain's Cove Founder's Program was held at the prestigious Hotel Casa Colonial
in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, with buyers and now members of the Founder's Club attending from the Dominican
Republic, North America and Europe.
Also present was Elena Viyella Paliza -- President of Indescorp, a management and financial consulting company
in the Dominican Republic -- and Chairman of the Board for ATLANTICA. Noted Mrs. Viyella: "The interest in
ATLANTICA and the Dominican Republic is nothing less than astounding. This project will undoubtedly impact the
growth of tourism, creating thousands of jobs."
Scheduled for delivery in December of 2005 is the Bay Beach Club, a hotel and club exclusively for the residents
of Captain's Cove, followed by the Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course in May of 2006.
