EAST HARTFORD, CT -- Textron Financial Corporation, a division of Textron Inc., has announced the appointment of
David Wisen to the position of President of the company's Resort Finance Division. The Resort Finance Division
provides a complete range of financial products and services to companies in the vacation ownership (timeshare),
land development and related industries. As president, Wisen will design and implement the strategy to continue
growing Textron Financial's resort finance business.
"Textron Financial has been loyally serving the financing needs of resort developers for over 14 years. I
am very eager to leverage this expertise and search for ways to further enhance our service offering to this industry,"
says Wisen.
Wisen began his career with Textron Financial in 1994, serving in diverse capacities including Legal, Treasury,
Corporate Development, and, most recently, as President and Managing Director of Textron Financial's Capital Markets
Group. He previously worked for parent company Textron Inc., where he directed the Enterprise's international debt
capital and risk management activities.
"Since joining Textron Financial in 1994, David Wisen has held increasingly higher levels of responsibility
at both Textron Inc. and Textron Financial," said Textron Financial President & COO Jay Carter. "Most
recently, as President of our Capital Markets Group, David interacted on many levels with the Timeshare Division.
His experience within Textron and Textron Financial make him ideally suited for his new role as President of the
Timeshare Group."
Wisen earned an AB from Columbia University and a JD from Duke University.
