BOYNE FALLS, MI -- The launch of Andover Club, Boyne Highlands’ newest homesite community, built upon tremendous
momentum and helped push Boyne USA Resorts into record first quarter real estate sales. Surpassing the healthy
pace set in 2002 and 2003 by over 120%, first quarter sales exceeded $34 million. Two areas showing strong increases
are in homesites and condo-hotel units.
At Boyne’s Michigan resorts, 37 parcels were sold in first quarter, including 24 at the new Andover Club. Introduced
in February of 2004, the Andover community has only 18 of the 42 lots remaining. These homesites are generously
proportioned and private. Situated along North Peak Pass and Lois Lane ski runs, Andover Club tracts have the added
cachet of a slopeside setting.
Mountain Grand Lodge, the new anchor to the Renaissance of Boyne Mountain has seen significant interest since construction
recommenced last fall. Over $7 million in new unit sales have been recorded this year, taking Mountain Grand to
84% sold out.
The key to the popularity of Boyne resort real estate, besides picturesque locations, is the proximity to complete
resort amenities including championship golf, skiing, and a host of recreational amenities including the soon-to-come
Avalanche Bay™, Michigan’s largest indoor waterpark. “People are looking for properties within a resort community
that offer convenient access to amenities,” says Barb Hornbeck, Boyne Realty sales associate, “and we offer that.”
Additionally, purchasers of Boyne resort property receive a complimentary social membership to the Country Club
of Boyne, which offers preferred access and pricing to many amenities including ski and golf.
