ORLANDO, FL -- Hilton Grand Vacations Company, LLC (HGVC) (NYSE:HLT) yesterday announced the development of the
72-unit Hilton Grand Vacations Club® within the Kalia Tower, at the 22-acre Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort
and Spa® in Honolulu, Hawaii. The project is slated to open in December 2003 and will become the 25th vacation
ownership property in the portfolio of resorts managed by HGVC. Pre-opening vacation ownership sales are also projected
to begin in December 2003. HGVC currently has an existing vacation ownership project at the Hilton Hawaiian Village,
in the property's Lagoon Tower.
An extensive renovation of six floors of the Kalia Tower will transform 138 hotel rooms into 72 luxurious studio
suite and one-bedroom condominium-style accommodations. The units are designed to incorporate a casually elegant
decor, and will feature panoramic Mauka (mountain) or Maika (ocean) views.
"Since the January 2001 debut of our first project at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, we have received a spectacular

to integrate vacation ownership accommodations into the overall renovation strategy for the Kalia Tower, and the
