Press Release: Time4Sharing
November 28, 2003
PRAGUE, Czech Republic -- Time4Sharing.com, its sponsors and volunteers from the timeshare industry took the underprivileged
children from two orphanages in Prague for a day out. This time the movement took the children to the place where
the first event organized by the charity was held.
The children were taken to the Prague Zoo, where they met the volunteers and the charity's mascot Boomerang (a
six-foot tall kangaroo). Boomerang presented the children with special gift packages full of sweets and chocolate,
donated by Platinum International and told them the story of how he got adopted by the charity in the name of a
children's home.
17 children and 10 volunteers went for the tour around the park, where they all could see and learn about wonderful
animals from all around the world.
At the wolf pen, a little 8-year-old boy started howling like a wolf in order to get the wolf's attention and attract
him out in the open. However, after 5 min of howling he then switched into making sheep-like sounds. After being
asked of why he was making the sound of a sheep, he replied "If the wolf does not respond to the sound of
a wolf - maybe he is hungry and will come running when he hears a sheep"!!
They also could see a real live Australian red kangaroo that had been sponsored and adopted by the movement and
its faithful sponsor Platinum International.
After 3 hours of fun at the Zoo Time4sharing.com took the children to the party to the Macdonald's. Following an
enormous meal of hamburgers, cakes and sweets the kids were then treated to entertainment by MacDonald's Staff
with games party tricks and the kids favorite animal fun with balloons.
"Ever since its inception, three years ago, the movement has organized over 60 events around the world for
over 6,000 underprivileged children from 15 nations. By organizing and creating the fun days for children, Time4Sharing.com
with, the help and support of timeshare developers, marketing and sales personnel has been in empowering the less
fortunate children and fostering the family values of "timeshare vacations". Board Executive member Katarina
Sisan, M.A said.
"Time4Sharing together with its sponsors and volunteers, is organizing other events for the end of the year,
that should involve Maltese orphans, underprivileged children from Slovakia, Czech Republic, Croatia and Lebanon",
she added.
Time4Sharing.com thanks all its supporters and volunteers for the dedication and generous help towards our cause
and that of orphaned and less privileged children.
