PARSIPPANY, NJ -- RCI, the global leader in vacation property exchange, announced today the appointment of Pat
Connolly as managing director & senior vice president for RCI's Global Business Group (GBG), North America,
heading a newly formed RCI Mid-America and Canada region, reporting to Dave Pontius, president of RCI GBG North
America.
Connolly will be based in Carmel, Ind., and will be responsible for helping a portfolio of 400 RCI affiliates and
travel partners grow their existing business through the creation of new business ventures and innovative revenue
enhancement strategies. Connolly will manage a staff of 10 professionals in the new RCI Mid-America and Canada
region, which extends from the Midwest to the Rocky Mountains and throughout Canada.
"Pat's experience running RCI's North America Sales & Service Centers has given him unique insight into
the back-office operations of clubs as well as the customer service needs of RCI members," said Pontius.
"His skills and leadership ability will help RCI improve both the quality and range of our service to affiliates."
Connolly joined Cendant in April 1998 as vice president of management programs. In November 2000, he was appointed
senior vice president responsible for managing five RCI sales & service centers in Canada, Ireland, Mexico
and the United States.
Prior to joining RCI, Connolly served as the vice president, Cendant Management System, where he developed and
led the implementation of Six Sigma business process improvements for Cendant Mortgage, the leading provider of
private-label mortgage services.
He has a master of business administration awarded by the University of South Florida and a bachelor of science
degree from the University of Notre Dame.
