Maltese Orphans get the (i) Max out of Timeshare Volunteers

Press Release: Time4Sharing
November 25, 2003
MALTA -- Smiles on 21 children's faces happened recently in Malta as a result of the volunteer movement Time4sharing. Two Orphan Homes (Dar Merhbabik in Balsan and St. Joseph Home in Zabbar) participated in the event organized by Time4sharing.com. Volunteers from several Timeshare Resorts also participated in the event in order to make this day another "Fun Day" for the children.

The children were received like royalty by the Eden Century Cinemas staff in St. Julian's and enjoyed a documentary movie in the I-MAX Theater. A briefing on the subject of the movie was explained before viewing the movie by the Manager of the Cinemas to explain and prepare the children on the main objective of the movie. In the truest spirit of Timeshare, they were able to travel to Egypt through the power of Imax movies , and enjoyed the The Mysteries of Egypt

The children also enjoyed a great meal in McDonald's where they had the chance to play with Ronald and the volunteers. Children received gifts from McDonald as well as the colored balloons.

In addition the children received toys from other sponsors.

"Platinum International teamed up with World Class Vacation Club, Rediscover Malta, Eden Century Cinemas, McDonalds and the Tumas Group to make the event possible.Volunteers were on hand from Lebanon, Egypt, Serbia, Russia, Czech Republic and Malta and the United Kingdom to name but a few," said Board Executive member Katerina Sisan, M.A.

"Time4sharing.com was first organized as a "FUN raiser" for kids and not a fund raiser" , she added. We are proud of our progress this year in Malta and look forward to more empowering projects in the future, and we encourage any timeshare company in the world to write to us should they wish to produce a similar event at contact@time4sharing.com or kina@time4sharing.com

"Our Mascot, a six foot tall kangaroo named Boomerang is on hand to travel virtually anywhere, proving someone at the host resort has properly practiced kangaroo noises, " chuckled Sisan. "It the most fun they will ever have, the kids and the volunteers!"
