NAGS HEAD, NC -- Ocean Villas announced yesterday that it has received the prestigious Resort Condominiums International
(RCI) "Resort of International Distinction" award. Ocean Villas, an RCI affiliated timeshare joins an
elite group of resorts around the world formally recognized by RCI for attaining the highest level of excellence,
quality and service standards.
This is the eleventh year for the RCI Resort Recognition Program, which recognizes resort affiliates that consistently
provide superior vacation experiences for their owners and guests. The awards are determined by RCI members, who
submit evaluations of their vacation experiences after they travel. Members rate the quality of the resort facilities
and services in five categories: unit quality, hospitality, housekeeping, maintenance and check-in/check-out.
Only about one sixth of the 3700 RCI-affiliated resorts achieve Resort of International Distinction statue.
"RCI is proud to recognize Ocean Villas as one of our top quality resorts," said Kenneth May, president
and CEO of RCI. "Being recognized as an RCI Resort of International Distinction is a district honor, because
it is a direct reflection of the consistently memorable and enjoyable vacations that our members have experienced
there."

Association President Harry Jones. Ocean Villas board, management, and members have worked hard over the post
few years to enhance the quality of our resort."
Ocean Villas was developed as a timeshare resort by First Flight Builders in 1983, and has been managed by an elected
board of its homeowners since 1990. It is located at milepost 16 1/2 on the beach road.
