WASHINGTON, DC -- Marriott Vacation Club International (MVCI) announces the following news updates:
Sales now open for Marriott's Playa Andaluza, Spain
The new sales centre at Marriott's Playa Andaluza on the Costa del Sol is now open for business. The new 220-villa
resort is situated on the beachfront, close to the yacht port of Puerto Banús. It is due to open for occupancy
in the summer of 2003. Prices range from £7,755 to £22,368 per week of ownership.
Paris resort on-line for summer 2003 opening
Work is progressing well at Marriott's Village d'Ile-de-France, which is located within one mile of Disneyland®
Paris and just 20 miles east of Paris. The first phase of 44 townhouses is nearly complete and work is well underway
on the Club and swimming pools. The style and quality of furnishings can be seen in the recently completed show
home.
New children's activities in Mallorca
Lots of new activities for children and adults are now on offer at Marriott's Club Son Antem in Mallorca. With
new improved premises and two new helpers, the Activities Team entertains youngsters with T-shirt painting, learning
how to create hats, table tennis and making window decorations.
The Club's Activities Team has also introduced a range of new activities for the adults. Members can now take Spanish
language lessons, learn Spanish dancing, go on family treasure hunts, learn how to scuba dive and learn how to
mix the perfect cocktail. All the usual favourites, such as tennis and golf tournaments, are also available. The
activities team also takes care of requests such as making restaurant bookings, excursions and flight bookings,
as well as giving tips on what to see and do on the island.
Marriott enhances on-line reservations
MVCI announces the launch of a number of enhancements to its on-line booking site. A password sensitive section
enables holiday owners to search, book and confirm reservations 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Benefits include
real-time availability and instant confirmation.
