Press Release: Hapimag
September 19, 2002
BAAR, Switzerland -- In an independent quality monitoring survey Hapimag, provider of holiday rights of residence,
received only the best of marks from its 135,000 members. Over 16,000 shareholders took part in the survey conducted
throughout the 60 resorts and, without exception, gave Hapimag an average rating of either "good" or
"very good".
Based in Baar, Switzerland, Hapimag, one of the leading providers of holiday rights of residence worldwide, received
only above average marks for its general performance from its over 135,000 members. On a scale, where 1 is the
highest and 7 the lowest possible rating, its members gave Hapimag marks ranging from 1.73 to 2.23, or from "very
good" to "good".
This result is based on a widespread, differentiated customer monitoring survey carried out by the independent
Austrian consultant and development company Trigon (Klagenfurt). Commissioned by the Hapimag group it includes
the resort quality assessments of over 16'000 shareholders.
In the survey Hapimag members were asked to assess the criteria "employees", "reception", "cleanliness/resort
upkeep", "general satisfaction", "building in gen-eral", "catering", "children/youth
offers", "leisure", as well as "additional services".
The highest rating was given to the over 1500 Hapimag employees world-wide, who were rewarded for their integral
effort with an average mark of 1.73.
The areas "reception" and "cleanliness/resort upkeep" were also awarded a quotient of under
2, with 1.82 and 1.83 respectively. The Hapimag group is proud of these results, as they clearly demonstrate that
the best marks were achieved in those areas enjoying a high level of priority within the Hapimag philosophy, namely
"Human Resources". These marks further assist the excellent assessment average of 2.07 for "general
satisfaction".
The marks for the remaining criteria further express the members' considerable satisfaction with Hapimag. Especially
the mark of 2.23 for "building in general" confirms the exceptional standard of the 60 resorts, which
are at the disposition of the members 365 days a year.
On the other hand, these strong results are a clear sign for Hapimag to continue investing as much energy as possible
into their main business, so as to also in the future be able to keep up and extend the existing standards, while
at the same time improving in those areas, which did not quite reach the same high marks, but were still classified
as "above standard" by the members.
The average assessments of over 16'000 Hapimag members are as follows (on a scale from highest mark 1 to the lowest
mark 7) :
Employees 1.73 Reception 1.82 Cleanliness/Resort Upkeep 1.83 General Satisfaction 2.07 Building in general 2.23
