Interval International Promotes Marcos Agostini To Region Director For The Caribbean & Latin America

MIAMI, FL -- Interval International, a leading global vacation exchange company, has announced the promotion of Marcos Agostini to the position of region director for the Caribbean and Latin America in the Resort Sales and Service Department.

"The Caribbean and Latin America regions are a top priority for Interval International," said David C. Gilbert, senior vice president, Resort Sales and Service. "I am confident that Agostini will be able to expand our market share in these areas with the knowledge and experience he brings to his new role.
In his new position Agostini will oversee Interval's Resort Sales and Service presence in the Caribbean, Central/South America and Mexico as well as direct the day-to-day sales and service activities for the territory. He will be responsible for servicing Interval's existing affiliated resorts, providing sales, marketing and operations support, as well as building Interval's developer client base in the region.

Agostini joined Interval in January 1993 as a vacation counselor in the company's Exchange Department in Venezuela. He subsequently held various management positions in Interval's Venezuela and Miami offices including international members services manager. Previous to his promotion, Agostini was the region manager for the Caribbean region in the Resort Sales and Service Department. Prior to joining Interval, Agostini spent several years in the hospitality industry in Europe.
