CARRABASSETT VALLEY, ME -- Sugarloaf/USA will be holding its 5th Annual Sugarloaf Blues Festival, presented by
the Budweiser Concert Series, on December 6th and 7th. This annual event has become a "can’t miss" tradition
for Blues fans.
The weekend boasts six different bands and performers with concerts starting on Friday, December 6th. Friday night
performers include Maurice John Vaughn and Big Jack Johnson. Saturday afternoon offers a free après-ski
show from 4:00 to 6:00 pm featuring Pat Pepin. Saturday night brings on an ensemble of talent as blues fans are
treated four bands Greg Piccolo, Kinsey Report, Anson Funderburph and the Rockets featuring Sam Myers and Big Jack
Johnson.
Tickets are $5 for Friday night's show and $20 for Saturday night’s show. Guests must be 21+ with an ID to enter
the shows.
During the days, guests will want to try out new skis and snowboards as Sugarloaf hosts their annual Demo Days
where equipment manufacturers bring all of the latest equipment for on-hill testing. Holiday shoppers won't want
to miss the 21st annual Christmas Show & Sale located at the Sugarloaf Inn on Saturday and Sunday.
