BOCA RATON, FL -- Bluegreen Corporation (NYSE: BXG), a leading marketer and developer of timeshare resorts and
residential land, has announced the promotion of John Maloney to the position of President, Bluegreen Resorts and
Senior Vice President of the Corporation, effective immediately. Bluegreen Resorts is ranked among the world's
top 10 timeshare developers/operators, with over 30 owned and managed resorts and over $144.2 million in annual
sales.
This year the Resort Division's growth continues at an accelerated pace as Bluegreen prepares to add five new Resorts
and an additional offsite office. To ensure that the Company continues to produce excellent results and manage
this expansion, Bluegreen is restructuring the organization in key areas.
In his expanded role Maloney will be responsible for all of the Division's operations and staff support functions.
These include, at the corporate level, Marketing, Inventory Management and Product Development, Business Administration
and Resorts Management. The field organization will report to Maloney through David Bidgood, Senior VP National
Sales

Prior to Bluegreen, Maloney spent 19 years with three very highly respected companies in the vacation and fractional
ownership industry netting invaluable experience and knowledge honed in the areas of sales and marketing.
