Developed by Marriott Vacation Club International and Euro Disney SCA, the new Marriott's Village d'Ile-de-France at the Disneyland Resort Paris is the first MVCI project in France, and is scheduled to open in June 2003. The announcement of the agreement between the two companies came in November, 2001.
Located within one mile of the Disneyland Paris theme Parks and the adjacent Disneyland Paris golf course designed by Ronald Fream, the resort is approximately 20 miles east of Paris. The resort, at buildout, is proposed to consist of 275 two-bedroom villas elegantly decorated in a typical French country style. Each one will have views over Golf Disneyland® Paris, a 27-hole golf course. Each villa will have a master suite, fully-equipped kitchen and dining area, spacious living area with TV, satellite channels, video player and stereo, washer/dryer and patio.
Sales began in March 2002, a month ahead of schedule, with prices ranging from US$12,100 to US$23,100 per week of ownership.
