PARSIPPANY, NJ -- Resort Condominiums International, LLC (RCI), a division of Cendant Corporation (NYSE: CD), has
announced the appointment of John Paul Nichols to executive vice president of leisure property management. Nichols
will assume full leadership of RCI Resort Management, a resort and hospitality management company that provides
resort operations, hospitality and property management services to the timeshare industry.
Nichols has more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry specializing in marketing, sales, distribution
channels, database marketing, property development and customer relationship management. He most recently served
as executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Cendant's Hotel Division, and was previously president
and chief executive officer of Wingate Inns International Inc., a Cendant brand.

Nichols earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Redlands in California
in 1987, and an executive master's degree in business administration from the Claremont Graduate School in California
in 1989. He joined Cendant in 1995 as vice president of owner relations where he was responsible for providing
marketing and operations support to large management companies that franchise the company's hotel brands.
RCI Resort Management is currently realigning its operations to originate from RCI's global headquarters in Parsippany,
N.J., where Nichols and his management team will be based. Nichols succeeds Mark Nuzzo, an 18-year veteran of Fairfield
Resorts and RCI who oversaw the integration of the Fairfield and RCI property management companies. Nuzzo and RCI
are exploring a potential new role for Mark within RCI.
