Resort Communications Signs Long-Term Contract With El Cid Resorts

SAN DIEGO, CA -- Resort Communications, Inc., (ResComm) a leading provider of many financial and administrative services in the vacation ownership and resort industry, recently signed a new long-term contract with El Cid Resorts (Mazatlan, Mexico).

"Under this new contract," said Jeff Healy, President of Resort Communications, Inc., "Our role will expand to include complete Portfolio Management, increased Trust management, and additional Lender/Funding support. We will still handle maintenance fee portfolio management on the "CidShare" accounts for which we currently provide. These additional services are designed to help improve various efficiencies on their side."

According to Dave Danneberg, Director of Business Development and Client Relations, for ResComm, El Cid will continue to rely on ResComm to manage its timeshare receivables billing and cash collection. Resort Communications will also provide merchant services/credit card processing.

"Not only are we expanding our services with El Cid, but we have also been given the opportunity to grow while they are growing. With the new Cozumel resort (est. 1000 new sales for 2002) and Cancun (with property approved for up to 3,000 units) our responsibilities are even more far reaching," said Danneberg.

Resort Communications, Inc. is based in San Diego, California. It was formed in 1985 to carry out loan servicing and related activities for the timeshare industry.
