Sunshine Marketplace Announces New Business Initiative With Launch Of Powerful Marketing Management Platform

Timeshare industry is core focus for new Marketing Management/Lead Generation/Loyalty business developed as a result of the previously announced acquisition of Club America Enterprises/DBA Wowpoints technology.

BOULDER, CO -- Sunshine MarketPlace Inc. (SMI) announced today that it is launching a newly developed Marketing Management program for Timeshare developers.

The program is based on the technology that SMI acquired in August 2001 from Club America/WOWpoints. The SMI IT team has since modified the software platform to create an extremely powerful Marketing Management program. This Marketing Management program now operates in synch with the existing state-of-the-art Database Management and Loyalty software that WOWpoints brought to SMI.

The continued development of the previously acquired technology has resulted in a unique platform that will enable SMI to offer Timeshare developers the ability to manage their various marketing programs in order to maximize efficiencies and to reduce costs. At the same time, a new partnership consisting of the founders of Club America Enterprises, Victor (Vic) Bubnow and Tom Hill, Resort Development Advisors (RD&A), led by Carl Berry, and SMI has developed new lead generation sources that are uniquely targeted and consequently, more cost efficient.

"Timeshare developers will have an innovative real time turn-key solution for managing, driving, tracking and lowering costs through SMI's Marketing Management platform", states Tom Hill.

According to Tony Genth, RRP, Sunshine MarketPlace CEO, this new business initiative will allow SMI to provide Timeshare Developers with permanent solutions to some of their most pressing problems as well as with a completely fresh source for lead and tour generation. "The high and, in many areas, increasing costs of marketing along with the inefficiencies of many of the more traditional Timeshare marketing programs, are significant factors in the cost pressure that many developers across the Nation, are experiencing today," he says. "We saw a unique opportunity to combine our experience and the powerful technology that we have acquired with the non-timeshare marketing acumen of the former WOWpoints founders and the well known Professional Timeshare group that forms RDA."

Sunshine MarketPlace Inc. was launched in March of 2001 in order to develop the first real-time, global conversion system for leisure- and- travel- based assets. The development of this system continues, albeit at a slower pace due to the events of 9/11 and the slowing global economy. Genth says that SMI will re-evaluate its launch plans for the conversion system during the second quarter of 2002. In the meantime, a substantial portion of SMI's resources are directed toward the successful launch of this newly announced business initiative to provide developers with marketing support.

SMI is already working with several developers and expects to physically launch the program over the next 60 days at three resorts in widely separate areas of the country.
