The Timeshare YES! prospect database features 2.1 million households who indicated that they "have taken"
or "would enjoy" a timeshare vacation as part of an extensive consumer survey administered via direct
mail.
"This is not a compiled list," says Bill Smith, president of Black Box Consulting. "It's a custom-built
database of unique names enhanced with self-reported and appended data. It includes responders from every state,
along with robust information about their travel preferences and buying habits."
The Timeshare YES! database has been appended with more than one million phone numbers as well as demographic and
lifestyle information using Acxiom's sophisticated InfoBase data enhancement process. To support the year-round
marketing efforts of timeshare developers, fresh "hotline" names will be available every two weeks.
However, Smith is quick to point out that Timeshare YES! is more than a mailing list. "It's a state-of-the-art
marketing database, complete with predictive models and geo-demographic targeting data," Smith says.
