MEMPHIS, TN -- Developers of The Circle G Resort, home of The Elvis Presley Ranch, received final zoning approval yesterday from the Board of Supervisors of DeSoto County, Mississippi. The decision sets the stage for final planning and initial development of the 808-acre, $600 million family resort destination.

The Circle G Resort includes 155 acres of ranch property in Walls, Mississippi, located near Memphis, that Elvis bought in 1967 and named ``The Circle G Ranch.'' The ranch features several fan attractions including Elvis and Priscilla Presley's ``Honeymoon House,'' Elvis' barbeque pit, horse stables and riding area as well as a scenic footbridge Elvis constructed across one of the property's two lakes.

``We're looking forward to building a premier family resort destination that fans, visitors, golfers, vacationers and conventioneers will enjoy coming to year after year,'' said Paul D'Agnese, President of EPR Enterprises LLC, developers of the Circle G Resort. ``Our appreciation goes out to the DeSoto County Board of Supervisors, and we have and will continue to work with all local and state officials on our development plans to ensure that we have the input of all parties involved as we begin to make The Circle G Resort a reality.''

Spanning a total of 808 acres and located only 15 minutes from Graceland, The Circle G Resort will include a number of stellar attractions including a museum, retail center, restaurants, family entertainment center, wedding chapel, hotel and convention center, honeymoon cottages, concert auditorium and a 53,000 square foot rendition of the legend's dream house. The resort will also have luxury condominiums built on two premier golf courses.

``We plan to have a web site, www.circlegresort.com, up and running in the near future so that all interested parties, including fans, can get an inside look and actually participate in the development of the resort,'' said D'Agnese. ``Currently, we are in discussions with top-tier construction and development companies, and according to our plans, we hope to have a groundbreaking ceremony on the 25th anniversary of Elvis' death.''
