PUERTO VALLARTA, Mexico -- The legendary La Jolla de Mismaloya All-Suites Resort located in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico is happy to announce that it is fully operational, and eager to welcome its visitors.

Spared by the wrath of Hurricane Kenna, La Jolla de Mismaloya suffered no damage as Hurricane Kenna passed by the property on Friday without incident.

"Our staff worked hard to ensure that the building was secure, and most importantly, our guests were comfortable," said Santiago Gutierrez, Managing Director. "Mismaloya Bay and the resort are fortunate to have been spared damage from this dangerous storm, and we are all happy to return to 'business as usual.'"

Currently 321 guests are staying at the resort and enjoying their accommodations. Plus, La Jolla de Mismaloya is providing assistance to other resorts and hotels affected by Hurricane Kenna by providing accommodations to guests displaced by this natural disaster.

The resort is fully operational, having experienced no damage, flooding or electrical problems due to Hurricane Kenna. The resorts water purification system, hot water, air conditioning, elevators, and telephone systems are working as usual.

• The beach is in top condition and guests are enjoying increased visibility when snorkeling and diving.
• Two swimming pools are open. The third pool was closed due to scheduled repairs and is expected to open this week.
• The restaurants, including El Patio Restaurant, La Iguana Italiana Restaurant, Beach Club, Sets of the Nights of The Iguana Restaurant, and John Huston's Restaurant, are open for business.
• The gifts shops, spa and fitness center are open.
• The highway leading to La Jolla de Mismaloya is clear and the Puerto Vallarta International Airport is fully operational.
• The hotel is fully staffed providing service to each suite and throughout the property.
