DALLAS, TX -- Wyndham International, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Hollister to general manager
of the 353-room, Wyndham Buttes Resort.
Hollister comes to the Tempe, Ariz. property from West Hollywood, Calif. where he was the general manager of the
prestigious 200-room, all-suite Wyndham Bel Age Hotel.

While at the Wyndham Bel Age, Hollister successfully repositioned the hotel following its $6 million renovation,
recently earning the hotel several awards including the 2001 Mobil Travel Guide Four-Star Restaurant Award; the
California Restaurant Writer's Association's (CRWA) five-star establishment award; the coveted DiRoNA Award of
Excellence; the highest service rating in Zagat's 2002 Los Angeles/Southern California Restaurant Survey; and the
Best Romantic Restaurant from Los Angeles Citysearch.com.
For more than ten years Hollister has held high-level management positions at Wyndham properties throughout the
United States. Prior to Bel Age, he was the general manager of the 436-room Wyndham San Diego at Emerald Plaza
for five years. While at Emerald Plaza, Hollister was named Wyndham General Manager of the Year and helped earn
the hotel the honor of being one of the ``Best Companies to Work For'' in San Diego by the Ken Blanchard Company
in conjunction with the San Diego Business Journal.
Hollister has held additional positions with Wyndham including, director of rooms at the 1,620-room Wyndham Anatole
Hotel in Dallas, regional director of operations overseeing Wyndham Garden Hotel properties located in the West
and Southeast, and general manager of the 201-room Wyndham Commerce, Calif. and 173-room Wyndham Garden Hotel in
Charlotte, N.C. Prior to Wyndham, Hollister worked for Hyatt and Sheraton.
