Press Release: American Consumer Opinion Online

ARLINGTON, TX -- Almost half of vacation travelers are planning to stay at least part of their vacation with friends or relatives this summer, according to a survey by American Consumer Opinion(TM) Online (www.ab.acop.com), a worldwide panel of consumers who get paid to take surveys. About one out of three will stay at a hotel on at least one occasion, while three out of ten vacationers will use a motel. Smaller numbers, about one out of ten, report they will stay at a bed and breakfast inn or camp in a state, national, or private campground or RV camp.

"Both the effects of the recent recession and a desire to visit with family and friends are likely at play in the large numbers of vacationers planning to stay with friends and relatives," said Jerry W. Thomas, President/CEO of Decision Analyst, Inc., which owns American Consumer Opinion(TM) Online.
