WASHINGTON, DC -- Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR) announced yesterday that the 132-suite SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Austin, Texas opened on June 1. Located at 12520 North IH-35, the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Austin North/Parmer Lane will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by White Lodging Services Corp. of Merrillville, Ind.

Located 15 miles from Bergstrom International Airport, the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Austin North/Parmer Lane offers guests convenient access to the Arboretum shopping mall, downtown Austin and University of Texas at Austin. The hotel also is located within five miles of area businesses such as Dell Headquarters, Abbott Laboratories, Motorola, IBM and Samsung. Rates range from $69 to $99 per night.
