A particular honour has been achieved by the Riu Grand Palace Maspalomas Oasis. With a rate of 72% repeat clients, it makes it the RIU group's establishment with the highest level of customer loyalty.

The 342-room hotel was acquired by RIU in 1997. Its privileged location, in the extreme South of Gran Canaria, its extraordinary gardens - some of the most beautiful in Europe - and the high quality of its service make the establishment one of the most prestigious holiday destinations on the continent.

The average rate of repeat clients in RIU is 45%, according to the group's most recent internal surveys.

In addition, the island of Fuerteventura is amongst the destinations with the highest number of repeat clients, with a rate of 56%.

RIU initiated its presence on this island in the Canaries in 1988, but now has 10 hotels offering a total of 5,000 rooms.

RIU Hotels & Resorts (www.riu.com) is currently represented in 10 countries around the world. Its 96 establishments employ 12,500 people and receive 1.5 million clients a year.
