TORONTO -- InnVest Real Estate Investment Trust announced yesterday that a distribution of $0.09375 per unit has
been declared, payable on October 15, 2002 to the unitholders of record as at the close of business on September
30, 2002.
InnVest REIT holds Canada's largest hotel portfolio together with a 50% interest in Choice Hotels Canada Inc. the
largest franchisor of hotels in Canada. The hotel portfolio comprises 114 hotel properties, most of which are limited
service hotels, with more than 11,600 guest rooms, operated under eight internationally recognized franchise brands
such as Comfort Inn, Travelodge and Quality Suites/Inn.
InnVest units are traded on The Toronto Stock Exchange under the trading symbol "INN.UN".
