HMSHost Awarded 5-Year Contract Extension At Milwaukee's General Mitchell International Airport

BETHESDA, MD -- HMSHost Corporation, one of the world's leading providers of food, beverage and retail concessions in the travel industry, has received a five-year contract extension at Milwaukee's General Mitchell International Airport.

The extended contract is expected to generate revenues of $ 30 million.

HMSHost operates multiple food and beverage outlets at the airport. Key concepts include Starbucks Coffee, Cinnabon, Edy's Ice Cream, and Pizza Hut.

"Our company is extremely proud of its work in Milwaukee," said John J. McCarthy, CEO of HMSHost. "Together with the Airport leadership, we have built an extremely successful food & beverage program, and we look forward to growing this already strong partnership in the years ahead."

HMSHost has plans to renovate the airport's food court. In addition, the company also plans to build a Miller Brewpub, which will celebrate the proud history and tradition of Milwaukee's very own hometown beer. Both projects are scheduled to be completed by the Summer of 2004.
