Press Release: Europa Cruises Corporation
November 12, 2002
MADEIRA BEACH, FL -- Europa Cruises Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: KRUZ) announced the official results of the
election of the Board of Directors held at its Annual Meeting of shareholders on November 4, 2002, at the Hilton
Hotel in Alexandria, Virginia. The Company reported that a majority of the Company's shares were voted in favor
of the election of the incumbent Board of Directors: Deborah A. Vitale, Gregory A. Harrison, Dr. Arnold Sussman,
Benjamin J. Harrell, H. Steven Norton and Frank E. Williams, Jr. The Company also reported that a majority of the
Company's shares were voted in favor of ratifying a resolution of the Board of Directors to amend the Articles
of Incorporation to change the name of the Company to "Diamondhead Casino Corporation."
Deborah A. Vitale, Chairman of the Board and President, commenting on the foregoing, stated: "The Annual Meeting
gave our shareholders a meaningful opportunity to meet and question the Directors and officers of the Company in
person. (Unfortunately, one Director, Mr. Williams, was unable to attend the meeting because his flight was canceled
due to snow conditions in Nova Scotia.) I think the name change is also important since it will eliminate some
of the common misconceptions associated with the Company's prior name. Also, the name change, while cosmetic only,
signals a new turn in the Company's development and underscores the fact that the Company's primary focus is now
on its Diamondhead casino project."
Europa Cruises Corporation, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Casino World, Inc., intends to develop a themed,
destination casino resort and hotel at its 404 acre site on the Bay of St. Louis in Diamondhead, Mississippi. There
is no outstanding debt and there are no liens on the property. The Company is actively engaged in the process of
seeking a joint venture partner and financing for the Diamondhead project.
The development of the Diamondhead, Mississippi project is subject to risks and uncertainties which include, but
are not limited to, those relating to permitting, financing, the activities of environmental groups, the outcome
of litigation and the actions of federal, state, or local governments and agencies. The Company may be affected
by some or all of these factors and other risks and uncertainties, many of which are beyond the Company's control.
Except for historical statements contained herein, the statements made in this release constitute forward-looking
statements that involve risks and uncertainties.
