Hard Rock Cafe International Trademark Reaches Settlement Agreement Forcing Counterfeit Merchandise and Cafe Operators in Jamaica to Close

ORLANDO, FL -- Hard Rock Cafe International finalized a settlement against four establishments selling counterfeit Hard Rock Cafe merchandise and operating infringing restaurants in Jamaica. By July 15, 2002, the entities in question - Hard Rock Limited, Hard Rock Cafe Factory Outlet Jamaica Limited, Hard Rock Reggae Limited and Herb Rock Cafe Limited - are to cease using Hard Rock's trademarks on signage advertising, bags and any written or promotional material. Furthermore, the operators are to immediately change all company names.
