ROCKWALL, TX -- American Leisure Holdings Inc. (OTCBB: FWPC) has announced new appointees to its Board of Directors.
The Board intends to announce the appointment of audit, compensation and nomination committee members in the future,
in addition to seeking additional independent directors who will add to the vision of the company. Similarly, ALH
will retain an independent advisor to the Board that will consult on corporate governance issues, as well as audit
the Boards actions in monitoring the actions of the Company's management.
The newest members of the Board of Directors consist of:
L. William Chiles, Director, Chairman and CEO of America Leisure Holding, Inc., is one of the travel industry's
most successful and innovative executives, serving as President and CEO of Hickory Travel Systems since 1989. In
addition, Mr. Chiles is Chairman of both the First Travel Management and GlobalStar supervisory Board of Directors.
He also sits on the Airline Reporting Corp. (ARC) and the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) advisory boards.
Malcolm J. Wright, Director, President and COO of American Leisure Holding, Inc., was a former partner at Kingston
Smith, a prominent London-based audit/accounting firm, from 1977-1988. Later, he was Chairman and Managing Director
of Zurich Group, a London Stock Exchange property company from 1985-1989. For a number of years, Malcolm worked
as the driving force behind the ALH business model and bringing together most of the companies that were rolled
up to create American Leisure Holdings, Inc.
Gillian M. Wright, Director of American Leisure Holding, Inc., has been involved in corporate travel and residential
real estate development and has helped Malcolm J. Wright, her husband, to bring together the roll up companies.
The Right Honorable Edward Phillip George Seaga, P.C., M.P., B.A., LL.D. (Hon), Director of American Leisure Holding,
Inc., was the Prime Minister of Jamaica from 1980-1989, and Leader of the Opposition Party since 1989. Currently
seeking re-election as Prime Minister of Jamaica in 2002/3, Mr. Seaga has been an elected Member of Parliament
for Western Kingston for 35 consecutive years. Mr. Seaga has represented Jamaica as its Governor of the International
Monetary Fund, The World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank and the Caribbean Development Bank. In 1969,
Mr. Seaga established the Urban Development Corporation and through his initiatives he has spearheaded the development
of numerous resorts throughout Jamaica.
Williston Clover, Director, of American Leisure Holding, Inc., who also serves as President of Landbase International,
Inc., has owned or been a board member of various companies involved in U.S. and international real estate development,
marketing, finance and consulting for more than 35 years. He has had direct experience in almost every aspect of
the hospitality industry, including the travel industry, hotel representation and ownership, resort and resort
residential development, and in particular innovative development, finance, marketing, brokerage and consulting.
Mr. Clover has also provided consulting services to the government of Mexico in developing Cancun, Ixtapa and resorts
on the Pacific Coast. His international experience encompasses more than 65 countries. Mr. Clover has been active
in almost every Caribbean island-nation, and has provided services to the Government of Mexico in their development
of every major resort area in the country over 27 years.
