RENO, NV -- Monarch Casino & Resort, Inc. (Nasdaq: MCRI) announced July 2 that a secondary public offering of 2,000,000 shares of common stock was priced at $12.50 per share. The shares were sold by members of the Farahi family. Of 9,468,880 shares of Monarch common stock outstanding, the Farahi family now owns 5,061,001 shares, or 53.4 percent. Hibernia Southcoast Capital, Inc. and The Seidler Companies Incorporated acted as co-managers of the offering.

Monarch did not receive any proceeds from the sale of the shares of common stock by the selling stockholders.
