HOUSTON, TX -- Crescent Real Estate Equities Company (NYSE: CEI) announced today that Walter "Walt" J.
Zartman has joined the Crescent investments team as vice president of development in Houston.
Zartman's responsibilities will include the pursuit, execution, and implementation of development opportunities
in Crescent's markets. Prior to joining Crescent, Zartman worked for over fourteen years with Hines in Dallas as
vice president of development and was responsible for the development of more than 900,000 square feet of office
space. Zartman also negotiated in excess of 350 leases representing 2.5 million square feet of space.
"Walt has over 14 years of experience in construction and development, as well as significant successes in
leasing commercial property. His expertise will greatly enhance our current development team," said Ken Moczulski,
president of investments and chief investment officer for Crescent.

to Crescent's existing outstanding development team," said Zartman.
