WASHINGTON, DC -- MeriStar Hospitality Corporation (NYSE: MHX), the nation's third largest hotel real estate investment
trust (REIT), and MeriStar Hotels & Resorts (NYSE: MMH), the nation's largest independent hotel management
company, Friday announced that the companies will release fourth-quarter financial results on Wednesday, January
30, 2002, before the market's opening. Both companies will hold conference calls on January 30 to discuss their
results.
MeriStar Hospitality will hold its quarterly conference call at 9 a.m. ET, while MeriStar Hotels & Resorts'
conference call will begin at 2 p.m. ET. MeriStar Hospitality's call will be hosted by Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer Paul Whetsell and President and Chief Operating Officer John Emery. MeriStar Hotels & Resorts' call
will be hosted by John Emery, president and chief operating officer, and Jim Calder, chief financial officer and
chief accounting officer. Shareholders and other interested parties may listen to a simultaneous webcast of the
