HOUSTON, TX -- Nevada Gold & Casinos, Inc. (Amex: UWN) announced the Black Hawk gaming market grew 8.6% in
July 2002 to $46.6 million compared to $42.9 million in July 2001, as reported by the Colorado Division of Gaming.
Black Hawk's casinos generated over 72% of gaming revenue in the State in July 2002, compared to 69% in the prior
year period. Statewide July gaming revenue reached $64.7 million, an increase of 4% from July 2001.
President and CEO, H. Thomas Winn, stated, "As the State's largest casino market maintains its steady growth
rate, we look to continue meeting this market's ever-growing gaming demands."
